I recently came across an interesting tweet:
"
There are only 3 optimizations
a. Do Less
b. Do it less often
c. Do it faster
The largest gains come from 1, but we spend all our time on 3.
"
I agreed completely. And thinking back, I seemed to make what is an obvious mistake a lot of the time. So what could I do ?
Maybe think like a computer. And I found a Ted talk that seemed to not only agree, but actually show how I could do this.
3 ways to make better decisions -- by thinking like a computer
